Map sensor or in other words pressure sensor measures the pressure of the gas coming from the reducer, and ensures an optimum gas flow to the engine. The other function of this device is to measure the vacuum amount inside the suction manifold and send this data to ECU. The electronic control unit adjusts the fuel-air mixture amount according to the data coming from map sensor.
